Praise God from whom all blessings flow…

We’ve been in our town… our new home… for about 2 weeks now, and God just seems to keep letting things fall into place for us.
  • He provided us our house, and many people in the town so willing to help us get settled, and figure things out
  • We have a great guardian who is a believer.
  • We’re managing cooking for ourselves… and it’s been pretty good… we’re not starving.
  • We have a language teacher so yay we can greet some people now.
  • We also have a house helper

Things we’re still praying about…

The rest of our language learning: Our teacher has a different “style” of teaching than how we expected to learn the language. - Pray we don't get frustrated with it and that we can find other people we can practice with in addition to our language teacher, so we can get more language than just class time...

We’ve been going up to a village about 1hr away from our town, to study with our teacher - Pray for safety, and also for the relationships we develop with that village.

Our relationship with our house helper: She's our age so she's taken the initiative to be our friend, and be over all the time even when she's not working. It's provided some good language practice for us, and gets us to walk and visit the town. Also Kacy and I had house church last Sunday and she joined us, even though we did it all in english. So hopefully one day i'll know enough to explain it all to her. - So pray that we can maintain a good working relationship as well as a friendship and that she wont take adventage of that. And pray that even without knowing much of the language we are still able to be a testimony to her just by how we live.

Pray that God keeps opening doors for us and that we’ll see them and are obedient to follow His leading.
