Dental Clinic

This week we have a volunteer team from the States coming to do dental clinics in several villages around Mali. Four of those villages will be Maninka villages.
We hope through these clinics, people will understand that we do this deed in the name of Jesus. We hope that as people wait their turn to get checked we would get the opportunity to share with them about Jesus. We also hope this time will help us build relationships with the people in our villages as we plan to follow up with those who visit the clinics.

Here's a run down of what the week may look like for Kacy and I:
Sunday: We'll go into the Capital for our teeth to get looked at. Then drive back down to Archenland with Judy (our supervisor) and the team. Monday: We'll have an all day dental clinic held Archenland with possibly people coming from nearby towns and villages. Tuesday: In the morning we'll go up the hill to the Goonies (Andrew's village) for a dental clinic there with people also possibly coming from surrounding villages. In the evening we'll head to the Capital to rest. Wednesday: We'll head on to another Maninka village where a previous team (Connie and Amanda) worked. We'll do a clinic in two of their villages, one on Thursday, and another on Friday. Then on Saturday we'll go back to the Capital.

After that week Judy and the rest of the team will continue on to other parts of Mali where we have other workers. Kacy and I will return to Archenland and continue with our work there.
