La Guinee

The trip to Guinee was wonderful. We got Brittany and Amanda settled in their new home, and left them now in the hands of their new family who are amazing and excited to finally have Brittany and Amanda there.

We also went with Rachel C and Rachel P on their research trip looking for the K people group. At one village we stopped at Judy was able to share the Demon Possessed Man story, and Creation to Return story, and people said they want to change like Jesus changed the demon possessed man. We also met some believers there who are waiting to have the Word in their own language. Right now they only have the French Bible, and the preacher preaches from it then translates it to the K language. It was an amazing experience celebrating with them as they sang praises to God in their own language thanking Him for the one that became a follower of Jesus that day.

There were sights in Guinee that I did not expect. After this trip I really really do like rainforests.

Here are some pictures from the trip. Wish you could see more of the things we saw, but I forgot to take my camera on some of our trips... maybe you'll just have to visit. It's better seeing things first hand anyways.





- The animal up top is a Beesh. It came by to greet us one morning as we were leaving the hotel. We also saw warthogs, bush rat, lots and lots of pigs, and chimps - you don't see too many of those here in Mali.
