The last month...

up to now has been filled with lot's of interesting surprises, some welcomed, some not so much...

I lost one of my flip-flops while trying to climb into the back of our truck during a big rain storm, it fell off and floated away down towards the river... or so I thought... But when we got back from our training in Niger - our guard gave it to me and told me one of our friends had found it... Good thing I still kept the other pair =)

Found out there was 1 believer in our village - we've started greeting and visiting with her =)

Started telling Bible stories to Bro - AND he's been reading them for himself in his own Bible he asked for =)

Got malaria - 1st time =/

Got African outfits finally made - and in time for Oct training =)

Rode a donkey - didn't go very far or very fast =)

Rats ate some of my western cloths in town =/

Started going back out to Tville - where we had our language class when we 1st got here - Got to go to the peanut field and sit and help out the women =)

For whatever the surprise is - wanted or not - PRAISE GOD for it all!!!
